5 Pitch Deck Examples
Confused as to how to create a pitch deck or presentation for investors? Yes, I feel your pain. Most entrepreneurs need to see examples of how something is done. And it’s really hard to find great pitch deck examples seeing as though most pitch decks are considered confidential. Luckily, I managed to dig up some great examples to share here with you today:
5 great pitch deck examples
OneCal Investor Pitch Deck
OneCal was a Founder Institute graduated company. This is a really great example of conveying traction and upcoming milestones for an internet startup. Although, the explanation of themselves seems a little too wordy from an outsider’s perspective.
SEO MOZ Pitch Deck Example
SEO Moz has a really great pitch deck example for any software company to look at. It’s very visual which is good. They also counteract a lot of investor objections up front in their deck (if you are already aware of an investor’s objections, be prepared to have a reason for this in your pitch).
Fan Corps Investor Pitch Deck
I wanted to include a pitch deck example from a service based company since so many of you have that here. They’re a little harder to pitch to investors for.
TipFrom.Me Investor Pitch Deck
Another great pitch deck example of a problem, and solution explained very simply and from a customer’s perspective. Although, it was a little unclear to me how the rewards worked for customers to share…which seemed to be an important part of the business model. What did you guys think?
Startup Live Pitch
This one is more of a guide for an elevator pitch (rather then a pitch deck example), but it was so great I had to include it here. Every business will need an elevator pitch for their business.
About the pitch deck examples: As we can see most of the pitch deck examples are between 10-15 slides (which means it can be read very quickly). Except, SEO Moz, but I believe they’re raising a second larger round (so just ignore the size of that one). And, if you have one you feel comfortable sharing with other entrepreneurs, please feel free to forward and I will post it here as an example.
